A Zuchex stand usually has to hold far more products per square metre than a typical trade stand. Houseware exhibitors arrive with hundreds of items — pans, glassware, storage, small appliances — and the buyers walking its fourteen halls decide in seconds whether a range is worth stopping for. The stand that wins is the one that shows the range clearly and still leaves room to sit down and talk price.
Zuchex 2027, the 37th International Home and Kitchenware Fair, runs 15–18 September 2027 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, Büyükçekmece. This page is written for exhibitors looking for a Zuchex stand builder: product density, the organiser’s Better Stands rating, Tüyap’s rules, and prices.

Who walks the aisles
The organiser’s ranking of 2025 visitor countries, Türkiye excluded, starts with Iraq, Egypt, Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Romania, Iran, Lebanon and the United Kingdom, followed by Germany, Russia, the USA, Jordan, Serbia, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Libya and Tunisia. Read that list for language: seven of the top twenty are Arabic-speaking markets. Product names, price lists and packaging details in English and Arabic will be read by more of your visitors than any slogan on the fascia.
Zuchex also runs a hosted-buyer programme with pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings. If you take part, your stand needs a table that can be booked by the hour, visible from the aisle so the buyer finds you, and far enough from the display that the meeting is not interrupted by walk-ins.
Showing a range without building a warehouse
The usual mistake at a houseware fair is to put everything on the wall. Buyers see a shelf of 300 items as stock, not as a collection. What works better:
- Hero products at eye level, the range below. One lit niche per product family, with the full range on lower shelves for the buyer who stops.
- Glass and porcelain need light from inside the shelf. Lit glass shelves and a dark back panel make tableware read; flat hall lighting makes it disappear.
- Appliances need power where they stand. A working blender or coffee machine needs a socket in the plinth, not an extension lead across the floor. List every powered item before the electrical plan is drawn — at Tüyap a stand whose connected load reaches 10 kW cannot have its supply split across several lines.
- A lockable store for samples. Small, valuable items walk. Build the store into the counter, and keep the order samples separate from the display.
The Better Stands rating
Zuchex runs Informa’s Better Stands programme, and the organiser says that all stands will be independently verified to determine which level they reach; exhibitors are asked to make sure their stand reaches at least Bronze. The checklist is voluntary, but every stand is assessed, and a houseware brand with a sustainability story does not want to be the stand that scored nothing.
The practical answer is reuse. A stand built from a reusable frame, with panels and shelving designed to be stored and rebuilt next September, scores better than a single-use timber build and usually costs less from the second year. We store stands between editions and refresh the graphics, so the same structure can come back to Zuchex — and to any other fair you show at — with a new look.
Tüyap’s rules for your stand
Zuchex does not publish an exhibitor manual online, so the venue’s rules are the ones to plan around. Tüyap rates the floor of halls 1–10 at 5 t/m² and of halls 11, 12, 11A and 12A at 3 t/m² — more than a houseware stand will ever need, but worth knowing if you show stacked pallets of stock. The stand project is uploaded through Tüyap’s portal and approved before building: an architect signs a single-storey stand up to 4 m, and a SİM-certified civil engineer anything taller or two-storey. A second storey is possible only above 24 m² and over at most half the stand. Nothing is drilled into floors or walls, and at least 40% of each aisle-facing side stays open.
Samples, stock and customs
Display items you take home can travel under an ATA carnet. Samples handed to buyers, giveaways and anything sold off the stand cannot, and need a full export declaration from your side and import clearance in Turkey. At a houseware fair that is most of what you ship, so agree the split with your forwarder before you pack.

Frequently asked questions
When is Zuchex 2027?
15–18 September 2027 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul — the 37th edition. The 2025 fair drew 27,759 visitors from 110 countries.
What is Better Stands?
Informa’s sustainability programme for stands. At Zuchex every stand is assessed and given a level; the organiser asks exhibitors to reach at least Bronze. Reusable structures are the simplest way to get there.
Which languages should my stand use?
English and Arabic cover most of the international audience: Iraq and Egypt are the two largest visitor countries, and Saudi Arabia is sixth. Russian and Romanian are worth adding if those are your markets.
Can I run appliance demonstrations?
Plan every powered item into the electrical project before the stand is built, with sockets in the plinths. Check anything involving heat or cooking with the organiser first.
Creostand is an exhibition stand builder in Istanbul: we design, manufacture in our own workshop in Esenyurt — about 25 minutes from Tüyap — and install on site. For other fairs and dates, see our Istanbul exhibition calendar.
