Injection moulding machines run live on stands at Plast Eurasia. Dr. Boy moulded espresso cups in front of visitors at the 2025 edition; Dakumar started two machines on the spot in 2023; Nissei ASB blew bottles. That is the standard this hall sets, and it changes the stand brief completely — you are not building a display, you are building a small factory cell that has to be fed power, cooled, guarded and signed off.
Plast Eurasia İstanbul 2026 runs 2–5 December 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre, Büyükçekmece — the 35th edition. This page is written for exhibitors looking for a Plast Eurasia stand builder: machinery loads, live demonstrations, the approval route Tüyap actually enforces, customs, and prices.

| Sector | Injection, extrusion, blow moulding, thermoforming, moulds, recycling, raw materials, automation |
Two-thirds of the exhibitors at the 2024 edition were international. If you are coming from Europe or Asia to sell into the Middle East, North Africa and the Balkans, this is the hall where those buyers walk — and it is also the hall where your neighbours will be running machines, so a static stand reads as a smaller company than it is.
Floor load: the number that decides your hall
Tüyap publishes its floor-load limits, and they differ between halls:
| Halls | Maximum floor load |
|---|---|
| 1 to 10 | 5 tonnes/m² |
| 11, 12, 11A, 12A | 3 tonnes/m² |
At the 2025 edition machinery and recycling sat mainly in Halls 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12; raw materials and chemicals in Halls 3 and 5. If you are bringing a heavy press and have been allocated a hall with the 3 t/m² limit, that is a conversation to have with the organiser early, not a problem to discover on site. Send us your machine’s weight and the area it bears on and we will tell you whether your allocation works.
Running a machine on the stand
- Power first. Tüyap’s rule is explicit: a stand with a connected load of 10 kW or more cannot be split across multiple supply lines. Lighting circuits are minimum 3×1.5 mm², socket circuits minimum 3×2.5 mm², everything earthed, and the panel must carry a residual current device. Only a Class 1–3 qualified electrician may sign the power-on form. Your kW figure, fuse-panel position and cable detail go into the electrical project before anything is built.
- A guarded working envelope. A moving platen needs a physical barrier at its envelope and a marked emergency stop reachable from where your staff stand, on a separate fused circuit.
- Water and compressed air. Both are available but must be declared with their positions and usage detail, and the installation project uploaded. Tüyap does not publish flow rates or pressures, so confirm capacity with the organiser rather than assuming your machine’s needs will be met.
- Order of assembly. The machine lands before the walls close. Plan the route, the door it comes through and the day it arrives, then build the stand around that sequence.
- Scrap and granulate. A machine making parts makes waste. Tüyap operates a zero-waste rule — nothing may be left on site and the space is handed back empty and clean.
If a live machine is not practical, the alternative that works on this floor is a mould and part wall: the tool open, the gate and runner visible, the part alongside it in three stages of finish. Technical buyers read that instantly. A brochure stand does not survive next to a neighbour making cups.
What Tüyap actually requires
The full participant handbook sits behind the MyTüyap exhibitor portal and reaches you with your contract. These rules, however, Tüyap publishes:
| Rule | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Stands up to 4 m | An architect or interior architect may sign the project |
| Stands over 4 m | Must be approved by a SİM-certified civil engineer |
| All two-storey stands | SİM-certified civil engineer, plus a separate static report |
| Two-storey minimum size | Stands of 24 m² or less cannot have a second floor |
| Upper floor area | At most 50% of the rented stand area |
| Two-storey structure | Steel or iron construction only — modular systems may not be used as the structure |
| Stairs | Straight only; spiral stairs are not permitted |
| Stands of 24 m² or less | Modular systems only |
| Open sides | At least 40% of each aisle-facing side must be left open |
| Fire | One extinguisher per 50 m², in place during build-up as well as the open fair |
| Textiles | All must be flame retardant |
| Hall fabric | No drilling, hammering or screwing into floors or walls |
| On-site work | No painting, plastering, welding or cutting raw timber and steel inside the hall |
| Maximum height | Set per fair and per stand — printed on page 1 of your own stand plan |
Projects are uploaded to the exhibitor and decorator portal, and signed, stamped hard copies must be hand-delivered to the Tüyap technical office before installation begins. That last step catches foreign exhibitors who assume an upload is enough. We handle it.
Note the “no cutting, no welding, no painting in the hall” rule in combination with the 10–12 week build time: a stand for Tüyap has to arrive finished. Ours is pre-assembled in our Esenyurt workshop and checked before it ships, because there is no second chance to adjust a part on site.
Shipping machinery into Turkey
Machinery you will take home again normally travels under an ATA carnet as temporary admission. Raw material, granulate, masterbatch, the parts your machine produces on the stand and anything you give away are consumed or stay in Turkey — they are not covered by the carnet and need a full export declaration. This is the single most common reason goods are held at the border. Confirm your categories with your forwarder in writing before shipping.
Prices
| Included in our price | Paid to the organiser |
|---|---|
| Design and 3D visuals, revised until approved | Floor space rental |
| Technical file, electrical project and submission for approval | Electricity, water and compressed-air connections |
| Manufacturing in our own workshop | In-hall forklift, lifting and empty-case storage |
| Pre-assembly before shipping | Compulsory service and catalogue fees |
| Transport, installation and dismantling | Static control fee, where one is charged |
| A technician on call during the fair |
Our band for a custom stand is 400 – 750 EUR per m², quoted as a fixed price in EUR against an approved design, so the figure you receive is the figure you pay. Island stands add 10–20%; double-decker structures add 40–60%, including the steel structure, the static report and the longer installation. If the organiser requires a change after approval, we tell you what it costs before we make it.
Send your hall and stand number, size, number of open sides and your machine’s weight, footprint and connected load, and you get a 3D design and a fixed quotation.
Timeline for December 2026
| Stage | When |
|---|---|
| Machine data: weight, footprint, kW, water, air; live demo decision | As early as possible — the fair is weeks away |
| 3D design, load plan, electrical project | Immediately after the brief |
| SİM engineer approval if over 4 m or two-storey | Before submission |
| Upload to the portal, hard copies to the technical office | Before installation begins |
| Manufacturing and pre-assembly in our workshop | November 2026 |
| Machine shipping and customs | Separate from the stand, with its own lead time |
| Installation | Within the organiser’s setup window |
We normally work to 10–12 weeks for a custom stand and 14–16 for a machinery stand. If you are inside that window for December 2026, tell us and we will say honestly which stand types still fit rather than promise a date we cannot hold.
Frequently asked questions
When is Plast Eurasia İstanbul 2026?
2–5 December 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre, Büyükçekmece, Istanbul — the 35th edition. The fair is annual, but the month has moved between November and December in the past, so check the organiser’s dates rather than assuming next year’s.
Can I run an injection moulding machine on my stand?
Yes — exhibitors do it every edition. You need a declared connected load (a stand at 10 kW or more cannot be split across supply lines), a guarded working envelope, a marked emergency stop on a separate fused circuit, and an electrical project signed off by a Class 1–3 qualified electrician.
How heavy a machine can the hall take?
Tüyap’s published limits are 5 tonnes/m² in Halls 1–10 and 3 tonnes/m² in Halls 11, 12, 11A and 12A. Send the net weight and the bearing area — a heavy machine on small feet can exceed the limit locally even when the average looks safe.
Can I build a two-storey stand?
Above 24 m², yes. The upper floor may be at most 50% of your stand area, the structure must be steel or iron rather than a modular frame, stairs must be straight, and a SİM-certified civil engineer must approve the project with a separate static report.
How tall can my stand be?
Tüyap sets no single figure. The maximum decoration height and any restricted zones are printed on page 1 of your own stand plan, per hall and per stand. Send us that plan and we design to it. Anything over 4 m needs a SİM-certified civil engineer’s approval regardless.
Creostand is an exhibition stand builder in Istanbul: we design, manufacture in our own workshop in Esenyurt — about 25 minutes from Tüyap — and install on site. For other fairs and dates, see our Istanbul exhibition calendar.
