who we are
Your stand, designed and built
in our own workshop
Creostand is an exhibition stand builder in Istanbul with more than ten years of experience. We design, manufacture and install — and the manufacturing is our own.
Our workshop is in Esenyurt, on the city’s European side, roughly 25 minutes from Tüyap Fair and Congress Center and 35 minutes from Istanbul Expo Center (İFM), the two venues where most international fairs in Turkey are held.
- End-to-end service: design, manufacturing and installation.
- A reliable partner for fairs in Turkey and abroad.
Stand Design
We design stands that make your brand stand out in the hall and reach the right visitors — drawn in 3D and revised until you approve them.
Stand Manufacturing
Every part is made in our own workshop to standards of quality, durability and finish, and the stand is pre-assembled before it ships.
Installation
Our own crew installs your stand on time, complete and safely, and a technician stays on call for the duration of the fair.
what we do
Creostand delivers exhibition stand design, stand manufacturing and installation so that brands stand out at trade fairs. Every project gets an original design, quality materials and on-time delivery, at fairs in Turkey and abroad.
for foreign exhibitors
Exhibiting in Turkey:
what to know before you build
If you have booked raw space at a trade fair in Turkey, you are required to appoint a stand constructor and have your design approved before you can build. At Automechanika Istanbul, for example, drawings must reach the organiser at least two months before the fair and designs without written approval cannot be constructed in the fairground. The organiser does not publish a list of approved builders. That gap is what this page is for.
What a foreign exhibitor actually needs in Turkey
Building a stand in Turkey is not only a design question. These are the five things that decide whether your stand opens on time:
- Design approval. Turkish fair organisers review custom stand designs before construction. Deadlines vary by fair — Automechanika Istanbul’s terms require submission two months ahead. We prepare and submit the drawings and the technical file.
- A named constructor. Organisers ask you to declare which company is building your stand and who is on the installation team. You cannot leave this open.
- Height and open-side rules. Custom builds are capped in height — at Automechanika Istanbul 6 m, varying by hall — and side walls may cover only a limited share of the open side so visitors can see through. A design that ignores this is altered at your cost.
- Double-decker rules. Where two-storey stands are allowed, the structure is usually required to be steel, the stand must exceed a minimum area, a static report is required, and third-party liability insurance must be presented on the first setup day.
- Getting your exhibits into Turkey. Products you bring to display and take home travel on an ATA carnet. Samples you give away or consume do not — they need a full export declaration. Mixing these up is the most common reason goods are held at the border.
Rules differ between fairs and between halls. We read the exhibitor service manual for your specific fair and tell you what applies to your stand, in writing, before you commit to a design.
What we do
| Stage | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Design | 3D visuals and plan drawings, revised until approved. Prepared free of charge with your quotation. |
| Approval | Technical file, dimensioned drawings and, where required, static report submitted to the organiser. |
| Manufacturing | In our own workshop in Esenyurt — cutting, edge banding, paint and assembly. Not subcontracted. |
| Pre-assembly | The stand is built once in the workshop before it ships. Dimensional errors surface here, not in the hall. |
| Installation | Our own crew, inside the organiser’s declared setup window. |
| During the fair | A technician on call for the duration. |
| Dismantling | Removal within the declared window, plus storage if you exhibit in Turkey again. |
Stand types and prices
| Type | Suitable for |
|---|---|
| Modular system | Shorter budgets, repeat use, simple product display |
| Maxima system | Clean finish without full custom cost; reusable frame |
| Custom build (wood) | Brand-led stands, built-in furniture, machinery, tasting or testing areas |
Stand construction in Turkey is quoted in the 400 – 750 EUR per m² band. Where you sit in it depends on the system, the finish and how much bespoke joinery the stand needs: a modular build sits at the lower end, a custom wooden stand with built-in furniture at the upper. Island stands add 10–20%; double-decker structures add 40–60%, including the structural report and the longer installation.
| Included in our price | Paid to the organiser |
|---|---|
| Design and 3D visuals, revised until approved | Floor space rental |
| Technical file and submission for approval | Electricity and water connections |
| Manufacturing in our own workshop | In-hall forklift, lifting and empty-case storage |
| Pre-assembly before shipping | Compulsory service and catalogue fees |
| Transport, installation and dismantling | Stand approval fee, where one is charged |
| A technician on call during the fair | — |
We quote a fixed price against an approved design, so the figure you receive is the figure you pay. If the organiser requires a change after approval, we tell you what it costs before we make it. Send your stand number, size, number of open sides and what you need to display, and you get a 3D design and a fixed quotation.
How far ahead to start
| Stage | Duration |
|---|---|
| Brief, hall plan, product list | 3–5 days |
| 3D design and revisions | 5–10 days |
| Organiser approval | Per that fair’s deadline — up to 2 months before the fair |
| Manufacturing, print, pre-assembly | 15–25 days |
| Transport and installation | Within the organiser’s setup window, usually 2–3 days |
For a custom stand we work to 10–12 weeks. The binding date is not our production schedule — it is the organiser’s approval deadline, which does not move. If you are inside that window, tell us and we will say honestly which stand types still fit.
Where we build
Tüyap Fair and Congress Center (Büyükçekmece) and Istanbul Expo Center (İFM, Yeşilköy) host most international fairs in Turkey. We also build at ANFAŞ Antalya and at venues in Izmir, Bursa and Ankara. Outside Turkey we work in Germany and the Gulf, where different fire-class and approval rules apply. Dates and venues for every international fair in Istanbul and Antalya are in our Istanbul exhibition calendar.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to use a Turkish stand builder?
You have to name a stand constructor to the organiser and that company has to work within Turkish building regulations and the fair’s own rules. A local builder with a workshop in Istanbul removes the transport cost and the risk of a part arriving damaged or missing with no way to remake it.
How much does an exhibition stand cost in Turkey?
It depends on the system. Modular is the lowest band, custom wooden builds the highest, with island and double-decker stands adding 10–20% and 40–60% respectively. Floor space, electricity and forklift services are paid separately to the organiser. Send us your stand size, hall and product list and you get a fixed quote.
Can I bring my products into Turkey for the fair?
Exhibits you will take home again normally travel under an ATA carnet. Items you hand out, consume or sell are not covered by the carnet and require a proper export declaration. Confirm your product category with your freight forwarder before shipping — this is where exhibitors most often lose time at the border.
Do you handle the approval paperwork?
Yes. We prepare the dimensioned drawings and technical file, submit them to the organiser and follow the approval. Where a static report or insurance certificate is required, we tell you at the design stage so there is no surprise on the first setup day.
What if I have exhibited in Turkey before?
If your previous stand is in storage, send photos and the parts list. Frames and structural elements are usually reusable; printed surfaces and lacquered panels age. We will tell you item by item what can be kept and what has to be remade.
How do I get a quote?
Send the fair name, your stand number and size, the number of open sides, and what you need to display. You get a 3D design and a fixed price. We reply in English.
