Eurasia Packaging fills fourteen halls and 120,000 m² of indoor floor — one of the largest fairs of any kind in Turkey. At that scale, the stand that gets remembered is not the biggest one; it is the one running something. At the last edition Korozo ran a stretch wrapper live on its stand and Videojet demonstrated coding and labelling equipment in operation. A static display of packaging samples sits very quietly next to a working machine.
Eurasia Packaging Istanbul next runs 20–23 October 2027 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre, Büyükçekmece. This page is written for exhibitors looking for a Eurasia Packaging stand builder: live machinery, floor loads, the approval route Tüyap enforces, customs, and prices.

Two things have changed in the fair’s structure that older listings still get wrong. Food-Tech is no longer a separate co-located fair — it used to run alongside as its own event and is now a special section inside Eurasia Packaging, covering beverage and liquid food technology, dairy, confectionery, meat, food safety and cold chain. Printpack & Converting is likewise a section within, not a separate printing fair. If you sell into food processing or packaging print, you book one stand at one fair.
Note also that the plastics fairs are separate events on separate dates — Plast Eurasia and RePlast Eurasia are not co-located with this one.
Running a machine on the stand
Live demonstration is normal here and it is what the sector’s buyers come for. The product categories on the floor are machinery-heavy: filling and packaging machines, labelling, coding and identification equipment, palletising and load securing, industrial robotics and automation, thermoforming and plastic or metal packaging production machines, packaging and label printing machines, coating and laminating lines, conveyors, compressors and vacuum pumps, weighing and control systems, and cold-chain storage and cooling equipment.
A running machine has a consequence most exhibitors underestimate: it eats. Over four days a wrapper gets through rolls of film, a labeller through reels of label stock, a coder through ink, a case packer through board — and it produces a continuous stream of finished packs and offcuts. Tüyap hands the space back empty and clean under a zero-waste rule, so the consumables plan and the waste plan are part of the stand design, not an afterthought for the crew.
Three numbers govern whether the machine can be there at all. The halls are rated at 5 tonnes per square metre in Halls 1 to 10 and 3 tonnes in Halls 11, 12, 11A and 12A — generous until you realise the figure is about the area your machine actually bears on, not its overall footprint. Your connected load in kW goes into an electrical project before anything is built, and once it reaches 10 kW the supply can no longer be divided across separate lines. And the working envelope of every moving part — wrapping arm, conveyor, filling head — needs a physical barrier around it and an emergency stop your own staff can reach, on a dedicated fused circuit.
Compressed air is available but has to be declared in advance with its position and usage, and Tüyap publishes neither pressures nor flow rates — so confirm the capacity rather than assume your machine will get what it needs. One more sequencing point: the machine is placed before the stand walls close around it, which means its route, its hall door and its delivery day drive the whole build programme.
Where a full line will not travel, the move that works on this floor is a working sub-assembly: the sealing head alone, the labelling station alone, the print unit alone, running continuously with the finished pack beside it. Buyers here read mechanism. They will watch a sealing jaw for a minute and walk past a wall of photographs.
Getting the design signed off
Your constructor is named to the organiser and the drawings are reviewed before anything is erected. The deadline itself is not public — it comes in the participant handbook, which is released into the MyTüyap portal once the contract is signed. Request that access in the same week you book, because the clock starts there. By way of scale, Automechanika Istanbul, which does publish its terms, wants drawings two months ahead.
An architect’s signature covers a stand up to 4 m; above that, and on anything with a second storey, a SİM-certified civil engineer has to approve it and a separate static report goes in. Then comes the part that surprises European exhibitors: the uploaded project is not the end of it. A signed, stamped paper copy has to reach the Tüyap technical office by hand before installation can start. We handle both the upload and the delivery, and we commission the engineer when the structure calls for one.
Worth planning around: the hall is a hall, not a workshop. Nothing is cut, welded, painted or plastered inside the building, and nothing is drilled into its floors or walls. At least 40% of each aisle-facing side stays open so visitors can see through. Everything therefore arrives complete — we build the whole stand once in our Esenyurt workshop, check it, take it apart and ship it.
Customs: the machine and its consumables are not the same thing
The machine goes home with you, so it travels as temporary admission under an ATA carnet. The film, the label stock, the ink, the board, the packs the machine makes on the stand and anything you hand to a visitor do not go home — they are consumed or stay in Turkey, which puts them outside the carnet and into a full export declaration. Exhibitors who put everything on one document are the ones whose pallets sit at the border. Split the categories with your forwarder in writing before anything ships.

Our band for a custom stand is 400 – 750 EUR per m², quoted as a fixed price in EUR against an approved design, so the figure you receive is the figure you pay. Island stands add 10–20%; double-decker structures add 40–60%, including the steel structure, the static report and the longer installation.
Send your hall and stand number, size, number of open sides and your machine’s weight, bearing area and connected load, and you get a 3D design and a fixed quotation.

Frequently asked questions
When is Eurasia Packaging Istanbul 2027?
20–23 October 2027 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre, Büyükçekmece, Istanbul. The fair is annual and always in October, but the position within the month moves between editions, so take each year’s dates from the organiser.
Can I run a packaging machine live on my stand?
Yes — exhibitors do it every edition. You need a declared connected load, guarding at the working envelope, a marked emergency stop on its own fused circuit, and an electrical project signed off by a Class 1–3 qualified electrician.
How heavy a machine can the hall take?
Tüyap’s published limits are 5 tonnes/m² in Halls 1–10 and 3 tonnes/m² in Halls 11, 12, 11A and 12A. Send the net weight and the bearing area — a machine on small feet can exceed the limit locally even when the average looks safe.
Is Food-Tech a separate fair I also need to book?
No, not any more. Food-Tech used to run as its own co-located event and is now a special section inside Eurasia Packaging. The same applies to Printpack & Converting. One stand covers it.
Can my team finish the stand on site?
No. Tüyap prohibits cutting, welding, painting and plastering inside the hall, and nothing may be drilled into floors or walls. The stand arrives finished, which is why we pre-assemble and check it in our workshop before it ships.
Creostand is an exhibition stand builder in Istanbul: we design, manufacture in our own workshop in Esenyurt — about 25 minutes from Tüyap — and install on site. For other fairs and dates, see our Istanbul exhibition calendar.
